Its role in Elion programs
We assess pigment changes in scars in ScarAxis, pigmented lesions in Spot Clear, and skin texture and acne scars in TextureAxis, then select a handpiece and combination of treatments suited to the treatment goal.
How it works
It delivers short picosecond pulses. Handpieces for pigment treatment differ from the Resolve handpieces that deliver energy to small, separated areas.
How we use it
In ScarAxis, we assess brown pigmentation in scars and use PicoWay for pigment treatment according to skin condition. For acne scars, we check whether treatment with a dedicated fractional handpiece is appropriate.
Other concerns we assess
Selected pigmented lesions, tattoos and skin texture. The treatment range depends on the wavelength and available handpieces.
Before your treatment
- Temporary redness, swelling and possible pigment changes should be discussed before treatment.
- Confirm a plan suited to the clinic's available handpieces and the treatment area.
