Its role in Elion programs
In scar care, we assess surface and edge height differences before combining treatments. In Spot Clear, we assess whether it is suitable for lesions such as moles that require surface treatment. ScarAxis is reassessed every 3 sessions; TextureAxis, which addresses skin texture and acne scars, is reassessed in blocks of 5 or 7 sessions.
How it works
It uses a 10,600 nm CO₂ laser, with fractional delivery and pulse settings that adjust treatment coverage.
How we use it
The treatment area is selected after assessing rough scar texture and differences at the scar's edges. Delivery method and recovery planning differ for surgical and acne scars according to their condition.
Other concerns we assess
Skin texture, selected surface lesions and skin resurfacing procedures. Specific indications depend on the device's approved uses and clinical examination.
Before your treatment
- Redness, crusting and recovery time vary with treatment intensity.
- Aftercare is needed because pigment changes and infection are possible.
