In ScarAxis, selected raised scars and keloids are assessed before combining cryotherapy with injections or other care. Warts, corns and similar lesions are also examined and distinguished before a treatment decision.
How it works
Liquid nitrogen acts on the target tissue through freezing and thawing.
How we use it
For selected raised hypertrophic scars and keloids, thickness and location are assessed before considering combination treatment, such as with injections.
Other concerns we assess
Warts, corns and other lesions are first distinguished before deciding on treatment. For corns, causes related to pressure and friction are also assessed.
Before your treatment
- Pain, blisters, oozing, pigment changes and recurrence are possible.
- Suspicious pigmented lesions must be diagnosed before any destructive treatment.
