In TextureAxis, we assess the rough surface and shallow depressions of acne scars; in ScarAxis, we assess the surface and contour of surgical scars before combining treatments. ScarAxis is reassessed every 3 sessions and TextureAxis in blocks of 5 or 7 sessions, with the next plan based on recovery and response.
How it works
The 2,940 nm Er:YAG laser targets water in the skin and offers a choice of fractional delivery and pulse modes.
How we use it
Suitability is assessed by examining the scar surface, shallow depressions and differences at its edges.
Other concerns we assess
Resurfacing and renewal treatments for skin texture and selected surface lesions.
Before your treatment
- Redness and recovery time vary with treatment depth.
- Pigment changes and wound care require attention.
