Active acne
We check new lesions, inflammation and oiliness, and plan active-acne care alongside scar assessment.
ACNE & PORES
We distinguish active acne, enlarged pores and depressed acne scars. Treatment is planned around inflammation, oiliness and the skin texture that remains.

ASSESSMENT
We check new lesions, inflammation and oiliness, and plan active-acne care alongside scar assessment.
Oil, clogged openings, firmness and surface condition are assessed separately from deep scar depressions.
We examine scar openings, depth, edges and movement. Mixed scar patterns may need methods with different roles.
TREATMENT & CARE
Use is selected according to active acne and skin response, together with any needed medical acne treatment.
Microneedle RF or fractional laser options are considered for texture and shallow depressions.
TCA CROSS is considered for selected narrow deep scars, and scar filler for suitable volume-deficient depressions. CureJet and SynergyFill are assessed according to tethering and surface findings.
RECOVERY & DAILY CARE
Redness, swelling, crusting, bruising or pigment change can follow lasers, injections or focal peeling. Avoid rubbing or squeezing; follow cleansing, moisturizing and sun-protection instructions. Recovery and response guide the next step.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Pore clogging, oiliness and firmness differ from tissue depression left after inflammation. Depth, edges and movement help select treatment even when they look similar.
These procedures are selected after evaluating specific depressed scars and volume loss, rather than simply because pores look large.
Active acne and existing scars can be assessed together. Priorities usually address inflammation and new lesions before progressing to appropriate scar procedures.
