ASSESSMENT

What we assess

Timing & distribution

We ask whether redness is constant or episodic and which areas are affected.

Vessels & inflammation

Visible fine vessels, acne-like inflammation, stinging and irritation help define the care plan.

Triggers & previous response

Sun, heat, skin products and previous treatment reactions are reviewed. Tell us when symptoms worsen.

TREATMENT & CARE

Treatment & care by clinical role

Devices for vessels & redness

Vessel depth, size and skin condition guide settings and treatment area. Examination determines the role of Vbeam or Clarity II.

Coexisting acne & oiliness

When acne or oiliness coexists, it is addressed separately. Allegro is considered in this part of the plan.

RECOVERY & DAILY CARE

Recovery & everyday care

Vascular laser treatment can cause redness, swelling or purple marks; recovery depends on settings and skin response. Reduce sun exposure and irritation and follow care instructions. Report eye discomfort or persistent inflammation during assessment.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

Does all facial redness need the same laser?

The cause of redness, vessels, inflammation and irritation determine selection. Device treatment may be combined with other medical care.

Can redness and acne be assessed together?

Both can be assessed, with separate treatment roles for vessels/redness and active acne/oiliness. Devices and timing may differ.

Can treatment leave bruise-like marks?

Purple marks, redness or swelling can occur depending on device and settings. Your schedule and previous skin reactions inform recovery planning.
