Pigmentation & toning

We assess pigment borders, distribution, color, depth and surface thickness. Flat pigmentation and raised lesions are evaluated separately to plan treatment and recovery care.

ASSESSMENT

Assess shape and surface, not only color.

Borders, distribution & depth

We assess isolated spots versus broader pigmentation, together with color and location.

Flat pigment & raised lesions

Surface thickness and shape help distinguish pigment-focused treatment from treatment of a surface lesion.

Changes, previous treatment & recovery

Changes in size or color, previous laser response, sun exposure and skin condition guide treatment and recovery planning.

DEVICES

Devices for pigmentation & toning

Device selection considers pigment, accompanying redness, surface and depth. Each device has its own detailed explanation.

TREATMENT OPTIONS

Evaluate moles, milia and raised lesions separately.

Milia

Small raised lesions are identified and located before treatment is planned.

Sebaceous hyperplasia

Examination identifies the lesion; tip-based procedures and injections may be considered when appropriate.

CONSULTATION & RECOVERY

Consultation & recovery planning

  1. Before treatment

Tell us about previous procedures, their timing, current medication and important dates. We review your skin and the changes you hope to achieve.

  2. After treatment

Temporary redness, warmth, fine crusting or color changes may occur. Avoid picking crusts and follow moisturizing and sun-protection guidance. Lesions that recently changed size, color or shape, or bleed, need assessment and any necessary tests before cosmetic laser treatment.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

Are flat spots and raised lesions treated differently?

Color, surface thickness and lesion type are assessed. Treatments targeting flat pigmentation and those addressing raised surface lesions have different roles and are selected after examination.

Will one session be enough?

The number of sessions depends on lesion type, depth, surface and previous response. Color changes and recovery are reviewed before planning the next step.

What care matters after pigmentation treatment?

Follow the cleansing and moisturizing instructions and protect against sun exposure. Let crusts fall away naturally and contact the clinic if the reaction differs from what was explained.
