Red and pale stretch marks
Prominent redness puts vascular color changes first; pale depressed marks shift attention to the surface and its edges. Any accompanying brown pigmentation is assessed separately.
STRETCH MARKS
Stretch marks are linear scars that can develop as the skin stretches, and red or purple marks require a different focus from pale, shallow depressions. ELION assesses width, depth, crepey texture and surrounding elasticity alongside color. Treatment is planned for the skin at each site, including the abdomen, thighs and breasts.
01 / ASSESSMENT
Prominent redness puts vascular color changes first; pale depressed marks shift attention to the surface and its edges. Any accompanying brown pigmentation is assessed separately.
Length alone does not describe a stretch mark. We examine its width and depression, the degree of thin or crepey-looking skin, and the transition into the surrounding surface.
The abdomen, breasts and thighs differ in skin thickness and movement. We consider growth, weight changes or pregnancy, any ongoing changes, and skin sensitivity when planning care.
02 / TREATMENT PLAN
Vascular laser treatment may be considered for red or purple stretch marks. Changes in color and skin condition guide whether surface treatment is combined or planned separately.
View detailsWith pale stretch marks, shallow depressions and the transition into surrounding skin are key concerns. Fractional treatment such as Lotus III may be considered for surface remodeling, together with a recovery plan for the site.
View detailsMicroneedle radiofrequency such as Potenza is selected after assessing atrophic texture and skin elasticity. Whether to combine it with laser treatment depends on skin thickness and response.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
The priority differs. Vascular color changes are a focus for red marks, while depression, crepey texture and edges are central for pale marks. If both occur in one area, the plan addresses them as separate goals.
We assess width, depression, roughness and shadows to plan how to reduce the difference from surrounding skin. Color and surface changes are reviewed separately, using consistent photographs to compare progress.
A consultation can assess the skin and any uncomfortable symptoms. We first review pregnancy or breastfeeding status and current products or medicines, then distinguish appropriate care now from procedures to consider later.
